Position Related Experience and Qualifications
#### Position-Related Experience
- Oversee execution of all non-investment functions, including finance, legal, operations, and HR.
- Create positive change and facilitate productivity with clear direction and accountability.
- Establish and maintain business operations for accuracy, productivity, and reliability; create and standardize SOPs across the business.
- Work with a third-party fund administrator to ensure proper books and reporting.
- Manage SPV processes from start to finish.
- Refine and execute processes for investment closings, portfolio reporting, and quarterly LP reporting.
- Maintain internal financial models, update metrics, and forecast cash flows.
- Properly allocate and pay relevant bills/payables.
- Launch and optimize marketing efforts, including social media and website management. Help build and brand content for LinkedIn and website blog.
- Organize and secure all internal files and investment paperwork.
- Liaise with external accountant on Annual Audit for funds and SPVs.
- Maintain internal systems, including CRM, email marketing and portfolio model software.
- Create and help execute proper interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding policies.
- Assist with fundraising.
#### Preferred Qualifications and Superpowers
- At least two years of experience in analytical or strategic roles, including Finance/Operations roles. Experience working at a startup or fund (PE, VC, Hedge Fund, etc.) is a plus.
- Extremely organized, high sense of prioritization and ownership. Able to juggle multiple projects while maintaining keen attention to detail.
- Solution-driven, moves things forward.
- High EQ, low ego. Earns trust quickly, tactful communicator, and leads by example.
- Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity. Self-starter.
- Good, positive energy. Likes to laugh.
- Willingness to jump in; no job too big or too small.
- Open, honest, & direct communication – able to communicate comfortably in 1-1, group, and written settings.
- Nimble: process-oriented, with the ability to take action to adapt to the situation.
- Curious, collaborative, confident, biased toward action, and acts and thinks like an owner.
